im a delivery driver out and about every day and would like to find a programme that would help me put my deliveries that i have done and their adresses in alphabeticaly order does any one know of any thing?i do have a book in my truck like a index book but would like to transfer it all to comp and print it of for use

Hi Gordon,

If you've got Word (or other word processor) you could achieve this.

If you create a table [Menu>Table>Insert>Table...] with the number of columns and rows you require, then label your columns in the first row, i.e. Customer, Address, Contact No., Notes, etc.

Then you can transfer your data from your book to the document. Once you've done that, place the curser inside the table, then select sort [Menu>Table>Sort] and select which column you'd like to sort your data by.

You can then save and print and add new addresses as and when you need to. You can also achieve this using a spreadsheet (i.e. Exel) or a database (i.e. Access).
