You don't need any drivers (why would you?), you just have a simple ethernet connection to the router, which is completely done from Windows.
Presuming the router isn't faulty?, and they seem very reliable things! - I would suggest it's either down to not entering the correct settings, or a phone connection problem.
You don't mention who your ISP is?, or if you've previously had another ADSL connection working or not?, but have you got ALL the ISP details the Wizard asks you for? - or did you have to 'guess' some of them?.

Thanks for the prompt reply,
I presumed the wizard had taken care of the settings?
I’m using tiscali Broadband connection.
I have gone through the quick installation guide and obtained the web based status details by typing in 192.168.2.1
And followed the wizard through to the final screen, WAN Connection type> summery
VPI/VCI 038
Connection Type pppoE
DNS Auto
IP Address Automatically assigned
Service state Enabled
NAT Enabled
Firewall Enabled
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Username shaun_x@tiscali.co.uk
Password xxxxxxxx
Saved and reboot, all the correct lights are on that should be, but I get not connected for the internet status. Should I set up manualy? Thanks again.

The Wizard only takes you through the settings, you have to enter the correct settings for your service (it's not magic, how could it know your ISP details?) - the details of which you get from your ISP.
I notice someone has already posted that you should be setting to 'pppoa' and not 'pppoe' for Tiscali.

I have finally got the thing working now. Thanks to every one who replied with help?
I had entered the wrong DNS numbers on setup plus the change to PPPoA setting as advised .
Although ime now connected I notice the signal strength isn’t very good, in fact its on Low and that’s about 2.5m away from the sender??
Any more ideas or advice on this would be grateful.

Same room or through a wall?

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

Hi , well im in the same room, 1.5m away from the transmitter and getting a Low signal leval status. I have moved the unit away from the TV as it was situated on top for convenience. The signal strength still shows Low status, move it to 1m away and the green light showing a signal strength, flashing from good to very good?? I would of at least expected a better result than this? Or is this normal??

Is it normal? I don't really know but I have to ask the question, why wireless when you are only 1.5 mtrs from the router? You would get a far more reliable service with a bit of ethernet cable between the router and your PC.

If you’re that close to the router it’s not worth it to wireless it, I would suggest to you to use the Ethernet cable that came with the router. I did not get very high signal strength with the wireless setup and that was going through two walls and was around five meters away.

Hi Guys, An interesting one here and problem solved.
The reason behind the the poor signal strength was due to the trasmitter being located on top of the TV, in the bedroom. Aparently the TV attenuates the signal?
Can now move freely between bedroom and lounge in the flat.
Is it worth setting up the security on the system and how vunerable am I with out it?

Yes I would set up the security on the wireless side, you never know who’s sitting outside in a car with a laptop stealing you’re bandwidth lol .or if you know all the neighbours are honest.

Yes, you MUST set the security, it's simple to do and gives a reasonable measure of protection for very little effort.
