This is a link to their home page. I found it very difficult to get any real information from the site without actually signing up for an account. The FAQ's were very sparse.

Hi Jilldave, I have also flexi-surf dial up connection on a win 98 PC and so far have found this ISP excellent for value. Also I have "exceeded the 2 hour cut off limit" while on line "fingers crossed" as to date not been cut off. I also have a family member who uses v21 and they are very happy with the service given. flexi-surf company is based in Surrey in case you are interested. Isa.

Hi I am a new user to webuser. I'll tell you why i am e-mailing ok. I went on the computer and I was looking for a dial up ISP that I had clicked on a link to in the webuser page but I forgot it and could not remember what the ISP was called. So I came back to the webuser page today and again was trawling through then I saw you and Isa_Brown and 'jilldave' were remarking abt Flex-surf and I realsed that that was the cheap download ISP that I had clicked on before but whose name I could not remember. I tried to e mail flxi-surf through their online form but it would not send for some reason so when I saw you all discussing flexi-surf I thought I would see if you could help me please by answering me some questions abt it so I can tell Tim (my landlord who wants to get connected to the internet) abt it.
Anyway, I'll tell you what it is ok. My landlord, who I live with has bought a laptop. he knows NOTHING about any ISP's or anything else really to do with computers. His phone (at the moment) only accepts incoming calls and he wants to get logged onto the net but shall not use it very often so I said I would help him look at the different options he can have. He says he does not want broadband as it costs too much and wants the cheapest option avaliable. I have saved another good ISP on my e mail..it is called something like V21....anyway I can't remember it but i have it saved in my hotmail and it is something like £7.99 for 42 hrs (dial up) and Flex-surf is 60 hours for £5. I really want to know how it works..do you get a disk when you join or do you have to go to the wizard and do it manualy? As I said, my landlord does not know abt installating these at all and I have never installed a disk either, if it is a disk that is. And does it cut off straight away after 2 hrs? If you went over 2 hrs would you be billed extra? And how decent is its speed? Does it take ages for a web page to come up or is the speed ok? And abt downloading.....would it be ok for downloading tunes? And what abt a contract..is it a yearly one or 3 monthly one or monthly one? Sorry to ask so many questions but Tim (my landlord) wants some info and I said that I would look at some options and Flexi-surf certainly seems to be a good one so i am just asking abt some of the details as I tried to e mail them but the e mail does not get through for some reason. Anyway I hope you can help me. Once again, sorry to be a pain but I just want to check this out. As I am new to this and don't even know how to access any answers to these messages and just wanted to join to be able to find out abt the ISP's as I don't use this site for myself...you could e mail me at my yahoo address at: Removed Anyway, I hope you can help me and answe me some of these points so I can find out what others think of flex-surf and then tell Tim what you have said. Thanks for everything, Toni.
