re-review Please
      #219903 - Mon Sep 05 2005 06:17 PM

Its been a long time since i put my web site on the forum for people to review,
i have made some changes to the information sections, added more information and oh yes iv droped the "DOG" as i now offer information on cat's and will soon be adding more pet types to the site. i Know the code is all over the place but for some reason it seams to work very nice.

The site is a free pet service finder for people living in the UK and there is also a section to show of your pets for free.

the web url is: dropins.co.uk

many thanks matt king

It looks pretty good to me. It's clearly set out and easy to navigate. It's easy on the eye too. I'm glad that you now include cats and will include other sorts of pets in the future.

I don't know. You've got all the popular pets in your Pet Show Case. perhaps you could add some breeding info for some of them, guinea pigs perhaps or goats, they're very popular round here. Also, some pets such as reptiles may need specialist services, info on what's available would probably be useful to their owners. I can't think of anything else at the moment.

You're welcome. I'm glad my input might be useful. I like looking at people's websites, but I don't have one myself and wouldn't know how to create one, so I'm never sure if what I say is valid. Good luck with yours, I think it's a great site.

Good luck with it, I hope you get someone to help you. It's obvious that you've put a lot of hard work into the site.

What you need to concentrate on is getting a design your going to stick with. If you keep changing constantly like you are doing your site isn't going to gain an identity and suffer for it.

Spend a month with nothing more than a pencil and pad, designing the looks and works before you even think of coding it. You've got to think how it might need adding to in future and incorporate this requirement into the design.

Your never going to get magazine reviews for a site that might well have changed since it was submitted and actually reviewed. Get something that is stable first and don't try to run before you can walk.

I like the new site and I saw the last one on here too. It does load and look much better and I would say it looks and acts very pro indeed. I have had to change my site too because I found out it wasnt the right design for the content i was putting in, so it had to change. I would presume this is the last change for a while for your site as on first glance it looks like nothing needs changing on it at least not the design. Keep up the good work and please re-review my site i have posted on here its www.fire-and-ice.co.uk.

Thanks
