I have recently invested my money in a computer and i can,t believe why i waited so long.Anyway i enjoy playing games and i was wondering if anyone can tell me why i cant play java games.I,ve tryed to download the software needed but i cant seem to instal it.My operating system is windows XP Home edition.
Hi, I think you need to download the windows XP service pack or if you already have done this click on Start on the bottom left hand corner of your screen, then click on select all programmes, right at the top of the menu do you see set program access and defaults ? If so click on it and then select custom, double click on custom and then select the items you need on your computer, the java option is the last section listed in my custom menu.

It's very possible that you don't have Java installed. Microsoft had to discontinue it's java package after a lawsuit with Sun. It has gradually phased it out over the last 18 months or so.
