Like I explained in previous e-mail fixed friends PC and running XP pro but for some reason it has not detected the VGA and modem. There are yellow question Marks on the device driver. How in gods name do I find out what the make it so I can run off and find a driver on the net? All Ihave written on the modem board is MKB 070006-0613. I'm stuck as she has none of the old driver even though they may not run on XP anyway!!!
professional dizzy!
this is going to sound really silly but I have and on the display section it says nothing so that I presume is the VGA that I need to install but where do I look for the modem info because I am not sure what I am looking at?

Forgive me but I think you are looking for the wrong solution. I might be wrong (it has been known!) but I thought VGA was short hand for Video Graphics Array (see this link) whereas the modem is for connecting to the net. Which device has got the yellow question mark, the display adaptor or the modem?
I know about AGP but it appears that I need the Graphics driver as well as the modem driver. I know I am being thick but what section of the belarc report am I supposed to be looking at as when in hardware I cannot seem anything that relates to a modem or comms device? I will try what Joe suggested and if there is no joy post back.
Sorry about that, I wasn't trying to be too clever! You should see your modem listed under the Communications heading. Just thought, I suppose it is an internal modem isn't it?
Your not being funny at all would have said the same myself. I will have another look when I go home as I don't recall there being a comms heading as I am sure I would have looked
