Probably a coincidence, but since relaunch of this site, I can't change font size on this or any other site page by using Ctrl plus scroll button my mouse. I use Avant Browser but I have tried IE and it doesn't work on that either. Any ideas. View, Text Size works OK.

I would suggest that you check out mouse settings. Could be the problem is with the scroll wheel settings.

Start/Control Panel/Mouse - you should be able to work it out from there. You want button options.

Sorry, can't find anything under my mouse's button options that covers this function. The options I have are: * Button configuration - to switch between primary and secondary buttons * Double-click speed - to adjust time * Click lock - enable or disable
Under the Wheel options I have: * Roll the wheel one notch to scroll - either no. of lines o one screen at a time.
My mopuse anf keyboard are a cheapie wireless duo with software to programme the mouse's wheel and buttons, none of which refer to adjusting font size. Perhaps it doesn't support this function. My old wireless one used to. Just never tried it up to now with his relatively new kit.
Hey, I just had an idea. The keyboard has a scroll wheel, so I pressed Ctrl and scrolled with that and Hey Presto! it worked. It changes font size. Thanks for your help.

Glad you were able to sort that. Just to clarify, I wasn't suggesting that the mouse properties would be where you changed the font size. It was to check that the scroll wheel hadn't become assigned to another task.
I don't suppose anyone would have thought of suggesting you use the wheel on the keyboard - inspiration saved the day!

I don't know about inspiration. Frustration, more likely!

As I explained in my post that started this thread, I can no longer use pressing Ctrl plus the scroll wheel of my mouse to alter the size of the text on web pages as it is supposed to. This is a standard feature of mice with a scrioll wheel anmd saves you having to click on View, Text size on the browser toolbar menu and changing it that wa. Using View etc. is more long-winded than Ctrl plus mouse wheel scroll. Do you have a mouse with a wheel? If so have you tried Ctrl plus scroll? Does View, Text size work for you?
