Site redesign - asking for feedback
      #207009 - Tue Jul 12 2005 08:10 PM

Hi,

I've spent spare moments in the last two months converting my site from table based to a table-less layout using style sheets. The site now validates as XHTML strict, and all the css validates. I've also tried to make it as accessible as possible, though I think I still need to do a bit of work on that front.

Anyway, I would be grateful if people could have a look and see if there are any obvious bugs. I've checked it in Firefox and IE5 and IE6, but that's about all.

The site is: www.jimpix.co.uk

I have posted in the past for feedback on the site, before anyone tells me off here and here.

Thanks

Jim

Looks great, nice source code - well done

I can check on a Mac in the office if you like, but chances are a few bits will go pair shaped, they always do! Unfortunately half our office use them so we have to cater for them

Alternatively get a free trial of BrowserCam and you can see what it looks like on pretty much all browsers, including the ancient (and non-CSS) IE4.

i have to say, nice work.

The layout is easy to follow apart from the one theme where the menu move to the right.(in the web design)

Nice use of colours and generally a simplistic no frills layout.

To say you are a husband and wife setup, shows the world that great things can be achieved by all levels and that there is plenty of room for us all.

Cant wait to see site no2

Hi Jim

I liked your original site but the new one is even better! You have obviously spent lots of time working on it. There is some great, useful stuff on your site. Thanks for linking to my site, much appreciated.

I have finaly got around to linking to your site, sorry if a bit slow but I have to use dreamweaver as I save it as a php file and it takes me ages to change anything!

Good luck with the site
