I receive many e-mails, and like to pass a lot of them on to other people, however I would like to send them on without a long list of previous recipients, can anyone tell me how I can do this? I have tried highlighting them and then deleting, but that doesn't work. I have also tried copying, pasting into a new e-mail and then trying to delete, but still no luck!

Your best bet, I would think, is to create a message rule, but you would need to use the address the original mail was sent from to identify any that need forwarding. This is easy enough if you know exactly what messages need forwarding, but if the messages are just ones that you find by accident then it's not going to work by message rules.

The cut and paste method should work. Open the original message and highlight just the body of the message. Then press Ctrl-C which will copy the highlighted section into your clipboard. Close the original message then create a new email and type in the addressees and the subject matter. Move the cursor into the body of this new mail and press Ctrl-V which should paste the contents of the old email into the new one.

I agree with your method, but I don't think that beeshorr wants to have the names of all people it's been sent to and the only work around would be to send it out individually, which could be a lot of work depending on the number of people it is to be forwarded to.

Would he get them using my method? Admittedly if it had already been forwarded to beeshore then names would appear in the body of the text but I read his note to mean that he got a fresh email that he wanted to pass on. If he forwards it everybody will see all the names that were included in the origianl message, which he doesn't want. I don't think he's worried about his recipients seeing the names of everyone he's sending it to. Or am I wrong?

I would do it (and have done it) the same as greystr's suggestion and use the "b.c.c." method.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can avoid all together

On reading the original post again, I think I mis-read the first time.
Yes Greysts method would be the best solution.
