for some reason when i go to close down the pc it won,t close down/switch off i.m running windows xp i am having to do it maunally any suggestions why ?
I don't know if you've looked around a bit and already found this but there are a whole lot of reasons for shutdown troubles here. The only thing I've personally had causing a really slow shutdown (not listed in the page linked to) was a particular version on ZoneAlarm. Reverting to an earlier version cured the problem.
