Hi,
My aol keeps shutting down and then reconnecting every few minutes. I couldn’t even write this post on the website because I couldn’t finish without losing the connection and having aol restart which meant I had to write the post on word and then copy it to the post just to make sure that I had enough time. It is getting very very annoying and it means that it is almost impossible to search and surf the web. I think that I might have a poor connection.
Anyone who thinks they might know how I Can stop this constant interruption, please tell me. Anything will do!!
Thanks,
Harvey.
P.S. I am running AOL 9.0 and I have Broadband Silver.

Harvey This is due to Internet Explorer thinking you have a modem still in place. Have you taken out the connections to it Removed the internal modem board if fitted? 2) Right click on the Internet Explorer "E" Icon on the Desktop select "Properties" then click on the Connections tab OK? Working from the top, remove all references to modems in the window bar the entry which says AOL Dial-on-Demand feature( Please do NOT delete this) OK? Highlight the item/s (if any?) press the "remove" button to delete Then under this change the setting to Never dial a connection then press the OK button to set and exit the page Go back online and you should not get "Kicked off"
