ISP DISCONNECTION

i have just reinstalled windows 98se.now i am being disconnected from net after about half hour.is there a setting for this? cheers.

v21 and dellnet. it happens on both.

I don't use either of those so I probably won't be much help. Most ISPs have a specific time before they disconnect you, i.e. 2 hours, 4 hours. This is on dial-up, I don't know about Broadband. Are you doing anything specific when you're disconnected, such as using your e-mail program?
