I recently made www.mookychick.co.uk which is a website for alternative girls of all ages who are rather smart and rather fun and rebels on either the inside or the outside too.

There are probably 2 articles that might be of specific interest to WebUser folk:

How to combat RSI (with photos and exercises)

How to create your own internet meme (fun and fluff)

It also has a newsfeed in the tek section that focuses on news of interest to girl gamers.

If anyone has any criticism on look, navigation and content (we're going to get larger, and are interested in sticky content) I'd love to hear it.

Mookychicks and non-mookychicks are also very welcome on the forum!

Hope you enjoy www.mookychick.co.uk...!

Our resident deity, Paul lomax has already posted your site, in this thread, may be possibly why you may have had a few extra hits recently

I had noticed from my stats, but thank you for letting me know!

Always a case of onwards and upwards, though... I feel content and ease of use in a site are easily as important as design and still have reservations in that area...

I like your site; I saw it before when Paul posted the link. I think your advice on "How to combat RSI" is excellent. I've already got one of those squishy gel wrist pads and can recommend them to anyone.

Ah, sadly I don't have one of those fabled gel wrist pad thingies and have to run my hands under hot water every hour :)

You should get one, the difference in comfort is amazing. They aren't very expensive, about £10 or £12, I think.
Good luck with your site.

Hi luckychimp

I'm a bit of old fart, so I don't think your site is aimed at me is it?

However your posting made me curious so I've just had a look. Yep, not my thing, but my teenage daughter will probably love it.

As for the site layout etc blah blah. I think its great. I admit I was expecting it to look a bit amateur, how wrong I was.

Wish you the best of luck with it and I'll pass on url to my daughter.

All the best - Duncan

'Raaaay, thanks Dunx!

Hope it's your daughter's cuppa cha. And because I'm so lazy, feedback which doesn't list any design changes is the kind of feedback I'm most likely to appreciate on a hot summer's day...!
