Sorry but I don't understand the question. Could you be a bit more explicit please.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really? Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

What? I'm not sure what you mean. Madeline.

As i am a computer novice I need all the help i can get. My problem is when i go on the internet whatever i am looking at if it has more than 2 pages or drop down menues that you have to click on for instance filling in a form on screen say for instance there were ten question boxes to fill in after about three i would click on the fourth then my screen would freeze so i have to press refresh then i would normally loose what i have just typed in In fact this message will probably have to be typed again because i will have to have pressed refresh again and lost the first draft. So can you please help as this is driving me mad. p.s. i liked the graphics Many
Many thanks Kevbo

It could be a number of things but one of the first things to check is how many other things do you have running in the background whilst IE is open? Next question is how much memory do you have in your PC?

I think greysts wanted to know how much MB RAM (memory) you have too. You can find out by going to Start>Control Panel>System and it will tell you under the General tab. If you're running XP and you have Control Panel set to Category View, click on Performance and Maintenance and you'll find System there. Madeline.

Thanks. hopefully, greysts will see this and be able to give you more advice. 128MB RAM isn't all that much these days, maybe you should get more. I think it's quite easy to add more memory, but I'm not sure how you do it. Madeline.

As Madeline says, 128mb isn't a lot but it should be enough to run Win98 without too much trouble. Have you tidied up your hard disk recently? Deleted temporary internet files, done a defrag etc?

I think the next stage is for you to give us an HJT log. Have a look at this link and then post your own log.
