This is little off track but finding true user reports is hard, has anyone on here used or using One.tels line rental for £9.99 a month are they any good is your experiance good with them, any help or clue will be great.
i have been with onetel for about 5 years now and i have had only one problem with them in this time i foned them up and they sed bt are sorting it now and it should sorted soon and gave me the fone no for there status report line also hang fire for about 3 weeks as i foned them again this week as all other isps are dropping there prices and doing upgrades etc and they told me that there are some packages comming through in about 3 weeks (i did tell them that they have been left behind in this and they agreed but in 3 weeks they should be released) aaaaah just read there page you are on about there fone package deals not there internet ones oops lol.
If it's the phone package you're on about, I'm on that. You get all your landlines calls for free but pay to call mobiles. As I have loads of free time to mobiles on my Vodafone contract I use that for mobiles so I just pay that basic fee. You still have to pay the BT line rental on top though.
I have used them without any problems. They did have an offer on a while back to get the LeisureUKTalk package free for a year (usually £3.99 a month). Not sure if that would have been any use to you, or if you can mention it to get a deal over the phone now...
Anyway, their online facilities are good and allow you the usual access to online bills etc. Everything has gone smoothly for me but I've never used their customer service and have only been with them for a few months now.
you think onetel have been left behind well wanadoo are so far behind it is unbelievable most ISPs are offering 2Mb and wanadoo are just offering 1Mb with a £20 fee to upgrade when all the others i had checked are offering free upgrades
I can't believe some ISP's have the cheek to charge for an upgrade. I've just upgraded my Tiscali from 1 to 2mb for free. I could have qctually done it for £5 less but my usage would have been reduced.
