This sounds stupid and pointless but it's starting to annoy me a bit now...
The other day I downloaded Firefox but decided to go back to IE, so I uninstalled Firefox, and now no Favicons show in my browser from any websites, not even the basic "E" favicon, this is what all websites look like...

Anyone know how I could fix this, it's nothing important but just irritating, thanks.

i have exactly the same problem.the logo has disappeared and all that is there is a generic icon(square with four dots and one corner turned down).i downloaded favorg to see if that would cure it but to no avail.i don't know what caused it either i use firefox 1.03 same as you.:(

Have a read of this thread
This usually happens when you delete your temporary internet files
Also because, you have moved back to IE, certain associations will have been lost, In internet explorer, Go to Tools | Internet Options | Programs Tab
Click the reset Web settings button

Hey Paulgtfc.
Now theres an emblem I havnt seen in some years - I left Gy in 81 heading for Africa. All gone wrong there so here we are back in good ol England. As I said. Great user emblem
