This problem is very similar to one that seems to have been left unresolved:

I have AOL and have recently installed a wireless network with a Netgear DG834GT router --- i used to be able to access all sites but now am unable to access www.msn.co.uk through IE and FF and through all browsers cannot access any MSN, hotmail etc. registration site --- i mean any .. french, german etc.!
This is driving me crazy and is amazingly similar to the post quoted above and have tried many possible solutions including host file clearing, cookie clearing, resetting DLLs etc -- except i can access the belkin.co.uk site!

Somehow solved the problem by opening up my Netgear control panel and logging out again .. guess it must be a glitch with Netgear routers.
