Hi, I wonder if any of you PC experts can sort this problem I have been experiencing lately.
On certain web pages, the interesting parts of the page(ie the part I want to see) load up but the where the ads should be there is just a white square and the page freezes. After a couple of seconds the following message pops up.
A script on this page is causing internet explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script? Y/N
If I enter No the computer does indeed become unresponsive. If I enter Yes the page continues to load up all be it after several seconds.
Any help would be much appreciated.

In Internet Explorer click on Tools, Internet Options and choose the Advanced tab. Under the Browsing heading place a tick against both the 'Disable script debugging' entries and remove the tick from the box against 'Display a notification about every script error' Shut down and restart IE and see if that helps.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really? Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

Unfortunately, my Internet options were already set up the way you suggest.
But thanks for thinking about the problem and making a suggestion.
