mozilla firefox error...cant figure this out ?

i have recently installed mozilla firefox and find it good but when i visit pages with java (i think) or flash or animtion...it says "additional plugins are required !" i have clicked wher they asked me to, to install additional plugins and it says INTALLED and you will nee to restart firefox..but even after doing that it still dont show either java or animation or flash...pls advise

Try clicking on Tools>Options>Downloads>Plug-Ins and you'll see what Plug-Ins are enabled on your Firefox browser.

you say you have problems when you visit certain sites, please provide an example. ie the web address of a problem site

the menus that shud appear dont appear...i have a home PC and on that PC on theinternet explorer this site works so fast abd brilliant...but on my laptop, even after installing shockwave, flash, this site is so so slow and the above page takes ages to load...rest all pages load just fine...i think its just where flash and shockwave is involved...am not sure ? thank you

the site you have trouble with works fine with my Mozilla Firefox.

Other than getting you to check your java settings (the site does use java) I can offer no further help. To check these settings select Tools>Options>Web Features> and make sure that the enable java and enable javascript are ticked.
