I'm trying to connect my new Virgin Broadband kit. I understand that this is a common problem with Tesco bb users (unable to connect to remote hosts or something?). I've un-installed and re-installed the software and restarted my PC and then disconneted the modem for over an hour before trying again. Still the 721 error after authenification messages of username and password keep coming up. Any ideas on how to fix this without having to call the Virgin support line yet again!?

I had this trouble when I signed up to virgin broadband! took me two weeks to sort out! but try this check the name of the modem which should be thompson against the install disc that you had! I bet it's a kingston disc?? if so the two do not work together and that's the cause of the problem you need to get a thompson disc for a thompson modem or kingston whichever you have after that you fine!
