DNS Error or Server Not Found

When I try to go to this web site www.northumbria.ac.uk

get the following error message

We can't find "http://www.northumbria.ac.uk/" TRY AGAIN

Error DNS-error or Server not found

An list of Yahoo sites are then given.

What does this mean. How can I get access to this site. I need it for a college course and it works from other computerts without any problem

W98 being used

I am unable to download Adobe Acrobat reader as well.

Are the two problems linked in any way

Your help would be appreciated

Cause it may (likely) be a DNS error.
