hi guys.
i have recently bought a digital camcorder and would like to know if anyone could recomend a good video editing program/suite i can either download or buy, as i dont like the software that came with the camera. i have heard muvee is quite good, does anyone have this? many thanks.

I use Ulead Video Studio 8.
There are lots of alternatives out there, but for £25, you can't go wrong with this. It's a great bit of kit in my opinion. Check out the customer reviews once you click on the link.

I'm also a fan of Ulead. However, if you have Windows XP you have Movie Maker included to edit digital movies. It won't record to DVD but you can practise with it first.

ok thanks 4 the advice guys. richie i think i,ll mess about with movie maker first like you suggest then maybe look into ulead video studio 8 later. £25 sounds very reasonable. i would still like to hear from anyone with muvee as a few people i know say its very good.
