Changed MY SITE around a bit since last time I posted and added quite a few different things, just wondered what you thought about it.

Hi,
Just thought I would make one observation, the banner at the top seems out of place with the rest of the site. What I mean is that the banner is very good, but looks as though it could be on a corporate site. The rest of your site looks like a personal homepage, which is great, but the two didn't seem to go. This is just my opinion though, could be talking rubbish! (The beauty of forums!)
Loads of info, which is useful.
Cheers,
Mark.

Thanks for your comments and for taking the time to look at my site. The banner comes as is....as it's one of the templates. I use Freewebs which is very easy to use which also gives you the chance to change over to a number of different templates which I do from time to time. As you can now see I've changed it back to the original format, would like to know what you think about it now......Cheers

I do prefer this look! Not sure about the garish flashing updated signs. I'm just too picky for my own good!

Put this in the <HEAD> section of your code to stop the Image Toolbar appearing when your mouse hovers over images.
<META HTTP-EQUIV="imagetoolbar" CONTENT="no">
Nice site, good work.

I would suggest removing the flashing "updated" image, this is very annoying and while draws attention to the fact it is updated it draws attention away from the content and can make reading the site difficult. A simple bold text of "Updated" would do the trick IMO.
Nice looking site though

Took your advice and removed the flashing update...it was just something I was trying out. Thanks for the other remarks.....Pete
