I have a iPAQ Pocket PC running Pocket PC 2002. Also, I have a Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone. Both devices have Bluetooth. On my phone, I have a free GPRS connection to the internet.
I was wondering, is there any way to connect to the internet through my mobile? And use the GPRS settings? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I have an Ipaq 2210 and Sony T610 which I use to access the internet via Bluetooth. I found the supplied Ipay manual and one bought from PC World useless in achieving the correct settings but the Sony Tech Support on 0870 523 7237 (phone on your landline so they can talk you through your mobile settings) was excellent. I am on Vodafone and their Tech Suipport on 07836 191911 option 4 option 3 were very helpful also. Whilst your connection may be free, the Data charges won't be! My plan allows me £6 per month which goes nowhere and downloading/browsing is painfully slow. However, Onspeed are about to release their software for PDAs which they say will increase speed by at least 9x. Cost on normal dial-up is £24.99 per annum, probably same or less for a PDA version. Good luck! [smile}

Thanks very much for your help.
For some reason or another, I am with Tesco Mobile, they do not charge me for GPRS access. I have downloaded at least 3 mb since I first used it and I havn't been charged a penny for it.
Since I'm with Tesco, settings may be different. The PDA is in for repairs and I shall get it on Saturday, so I'll try it then. I think it'll just be a case of pairing my mobile with the PDA and accessing the net through my phone.

It's not that simple. Nothing ever is. Yes, you have to pair your phone with the PDA. That was simple. However, there are settings which your ISP has to provide for you to connect to the www. I would call Tesco's Tech Support when you get your PDA back.

OK. I just got my PDA back. I'll try Tesco's Customer Support tomorrow morning. Thanks for your help.
Why does everything have to be difficult?!
