Hi can anyone recommend any good text editors, after searching the internet I became swamped with many links and options I thought I'd ask this forum before downloading anything, thank's

I use Bluefish for everything that is web scripting. http://bluefish.openoffice.nl/
there is an equally good windows text editor also. http://www.crimsoneditor.com/

Try out Advasar Ed from http://www.advasar.com I also was seaching a good text editor, but this one I use regulary. It's one of the quickest and powerful, lot's of functions, easy to use.

I have also recently discovered the joys of Notpad++. Highly recommended.
