How to connect SONY Camera DCR-IP 55E to Internet?

Hi!

I bought one SONY camera model DCR-IP 55E from malesiya and I lost it's mannual. Now I want to connect to internet to brows or check mail as it has such nice features, but I am not able to do so.

as I got some news it reauire Bluetooth technology then I bought one bluetooth card, not the computer detect that there is such device in the bluetooth range, after that if I tried to brows website then it says that PPP configuration is not configured properly.

for PPP configuration it asks for

USR :
pwd :
DNS1 :
DNS2 :
Telephone :


I don't have any clue what it require to connect to internet.

Any IDEA ?

I'm not sure what you're asking. Do you want to use your camera as a webcam?

If so, you need to use something like Netmeeting, which is part of Windows XP. Have a look here to see how to set it up.

Hi!

Thank you for your quick reaponce.

Actueally I want to brows websites and check mail from camera "smal screen". It means I want to connect my camera with internet and surf internet from that.


please give me soem idea about this.

In the first instance, you'd a browser application installed on the camera it's not going to happen.

Give it a couple of years and you'll be able to do it, I imagine.

Hi!

from LED of camera, it shows browser, mail,ppp tab.

While I have purchased it from Malesiya then the seller told me that it is possible to check mail and brows sites from this LED/screen.

As per his talk I am trying this. as blue tooth works fine as it detect that device that's okey but for internet connection I guess it should be possibel as it has browser ofcource it is very difficult to type and complecated system but there are some stuffs I can see whic shows htat I should be able to do so.

It is also possible that I am wrong some where.

I hope I will find some solution.
