WMP problem
      #168432 - Tue Mar 08 2005 02:16 PM

Using Windows XP and WMP 9 I'm trying to copy from CD onto WMP. The files copy onto My Music folder fine, but Media Library says there are no media items present, even though I've set My Music as the folder to search and I can see in Explorer that the files are definitely there in wma format. Any ideas?

Is it checking the correct location?

Click Tools > Options > Media Library tab.

Click on the "Monitor Folders" button and it will show what folder it is using.

If it's not the one where your music files are stored, click on the "Add" button and navigate to the correct folder.
