Have you installed XP Service Pack 1 and/or 2?

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really? Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

Is your version of XP Pro anything special or is it just the bog standard?

In that case, sorry I don't know what else to offer. I suppose you could try the download again just in case the original got corrupted.

Found this on a forum
In reply to:
..navigate to C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386 and copy wmploc.dll to C:\Windows\System32. Now, run the WMP 10 installer again and see what you get.
Give it a try. You can always remove the file if it doesn't work.
