I liked your site as it has a nice clear layout and is easy to use. I think that anything that discourages people from smoking is a good idea.
Just one small point - I noticed a few spelling errors so it is worth putting your pages through a spell checker before putting them on the site.

Simple , clean, straight to the point, everything a web site should be. You've a good eye for colour.
Must have been hard for you losing your father and your doing him proud with this site. Keep up the good work.

Hi Callum,
who could laugh at that? Your words about your dad were so moving, I was nearly crying when I read them. You and your family must really have been through a hard time, and it is so commendable that you have written this site to try and get the point through to others about the risks of smoking.
I hope that doesn't sound patronising, and it isn't meant to, I just wanted to express my feelings...
Smoking is something I don't really understand, or at least, I don't understand why the government can claim to care so much about public health, and go to such lengths to protect us from "terrorists" while at the same time not worrying too much about the fact that smoking kills off tens of thousands of UK civilians alone per year...
I have thoroughly banged on about this here and here
All the best to you Callum - the site looks good too, and is well laid out.

Hi Callum,
re. forum vs. blog vs. feedback... I'm not sure - it depends what you want to use them for. A blog is a really good way of being able to post regular updates to the site without needing to do any uploading, and if you enable comments you can get a bit of a community going with users.
A forum is also useful if you want to develop a community on the site, and allow people to talk about issues related to smoking, or anything else. One thing I've noticed is that loads of sites have forums, but a lot of them have the standard php/MySQL phpbb2 forum, and they cram it full of sections, and these get little or no traffic - to me there's nothing so offputting as seeing a forum page with no posts on - might be worth waiting until the site is a bit more established?
A guestbook is always a good idea, allowing people to post feedback on your site. As you probably know, there are thousands of free guestbook utilities you can use for your site so it would be pretty easy to set up.
As for a domain - and sorry for the sales pitch here - which is what it seems like, except I'm not on commission and have nothing to do with supanames.co.uk, but I was looking at their hosting deals for a person who asked me to set up a blog for them...
Anyway, you can get a really good deal with them where for about £35.00 you can register your domain name, and get 2 years hosting. That gives you a MySQL database - ideal for forums, blogs etc. and the ability to run PHP, also needed for your forums etc. It only gives you 35Mb of webspace, but that is pretty decent for a first site.
Here's some info about that:
http://www.supanames.co.uk/index.php?page=vhost
Once you have you site, there is also a really excellent free blog you can use on PHP/MySQL setups called wordpress - it's dead easy to install, and once installed you have a blog ready to use within about 5 minutes.
Details are here:

All the best to you

HI Callum,
if somebody is willing to host the site for free for you, I will pay for your domain name. I think its brilliant what your trying to do, and I hope you get all the encouragement you deserve through this forum. Please leave me a private message with your e mail address so i can contact you.
So come on forum users, one of you must have a bit of free space on a reseller account for this young man.
All the Best.

That's an excellent idea.
Alas I don't have any spare webspace, but if you would like any help with getting a forum / blog set up once you do have some hosting, please let me know via a private message or an email via my site.
