AOL Broadband Connection Problems

I connect to AOL broadband and then within 10 minutes I am disconnected. Please could anyone offer any suggestions. Thanks

If you are being disconnected every 10 minutes i would check your microfilters. If they prove to be fine get AOL to do a whoosh test on your line to check for anything wrong if that doesnt show anything request them to report a fault to BT you may have a problem at your local exchange.

Do you get any error message when you get disconnected.
If so post the message with windows version and modem being used.

It isn't my computer, its a friends. The problem is fixed now anyway. They had something wrong with the extension they used to connect the computer to the phone line.
