Is it possible to build a web site using Winows ME and Netscape Composer saving the site and then transfering it to an Apple mac to be maintained by the site owner?
Here's the problem more fully. I am building a web site here in the UK for a Camp site owner I have got to know in France. His current site is costing an arm & a leg to maintain. The idea I have is to build the site for him in ME using Netscape Composer then to upload to the web. For him to install Netscape Composer on his Mac for him to then copy the code using view source and save the HTML coding in his Netscape Composer on his computer using insert HTML for each page. He can then maintain the web site from there on in France.
Am I on the right track on how to do this or is there another way it could or should be done.
Once you have finished and uploaded the site to the server the French connection can simply download it - so long as you provide the FTP details. Thus, having it on his machine for editing and updating, then they can upload any changes. TFC 'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.' - A. Einstein
