1 Window for Web Page
      #161015 - Sun Feb 13 2005 12:33 PM

When building a web site in front page how can i keep 1 window for every web page using the same template just changing the text/picture body content which i assume would save time and space?

Also, I have added boxes, etc. on my web pages which are aligned to the edge of the pages, but when i view the page in explorer the boxes, etc. are short of the viewed page edge, when i extend these boxes well over the edge of the page they are still just short of the edge when viewed in explorer, any ideas?

Joe you may need to set you page margins, click the html tab so you can view your code and find the html tag that start like this <body> and change it to look like this <body leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">, I must confess to not knowing much about frontpage but i am sure there are easier ways of changing the page properties in frontpage, as for creating more pages all you need to do is once you have have one page you happy with save it, then delete the bits you dont want put your new information on and this time go file save as and save it with a differant name. Hope that is of some help.

Regards
Ian

Thanks for your reply,

Unfortunately I cannot find where to alter the page margins only the page guide margins. This has only happened on one of my pages which i must have altered in some way but not sure what i have done, all the other pages seem fine. Anyway i will keep trying and maybe i will stumble across the solution in time.

Thanks again for your interest.

Joe to change the page margins in frontpage 2000 open your page and right click, select page properties, then click the margine tab, then click the option box to change the top and left margin. change them to 0.
Hope this slightly more specific info helps.

Regards
Ian

There does not appear to be page properties available when i right click the opened page only Paste, Rulers, Toolbars and Zoom, but i am sure there will be some where its just a matter of finding it?

Have now, not much wiser though, its a bit much for my limited understanding of Frontpage or anything else come to think of it, but thanks very much for your interest and time.
