hey,

that is just shareware, so it'll probabyly restrict most functions until you buy it. Plus you're not allowed to advertise commercial software on this forum.

Ill post Mnu Generator (still in beta) here tommorow.

Hi, a friend (ig88) told me about your desire for a free menu generator.

I have made one, although it is currently only in beta and does not have any help files. However unlike the coffecup version it is freeware (for non-commercial use)

I'll set up a link for you if you want

Hey IG88 what part of free dhtml menu builder don't you understand? , it is not shareware it is totally free and if you care to click on my link, download it and try it you will find it is fully functional with no time limits and FREE FREE FREE , your post shows you haven't tried it because you state "probably" , and software if free is not commercial. It is a superb free dhtml menu bulider.

So before you critise someones post i suggest you ascertain the facts.

Just a question about the coffee cup program (bearing in mind that I havn't tried it), why does it say that you are downloading a trial version, with the option of paid customers redownloading it. And yes I know that I havn't tried it yet, but it was just one of those things that I noticed when I looked at the given link.

some of their software is shareware, however menu maker is free, it just uses the same download routines as the shareware, i have used it on many occasions, it is extremely customisable (is that a word?, but you know what i mean) try it, it is superb (and free) . If however your menumaker is better i will be happy to use it, please post a link for us to download and access it.

Ok, I han't run the program, so I didn't know.

I have a link to my program that I created below. However if you do not have the dot net framework installed you will need to download it ( http://download.futurecoding.com/dotnetfx.exe ).

The actual program's install file is locatetd here: http://download.futurecoding.com/MGSetup.exe

Please note that it is free, but there are no help files for it a.t.m.

p.s. how do I insert a hyperlink into a post?

markup tags this link tells you all about the mark up tags and how to use them, if you note in the helpfiles all the codes have spaces before and after the text in the brackets, this is so the helpfiles show as helpfiles, otherwise you would just see the result rather than how to do it.

no probs mate, i wish i had a penny for everytime i had done something without checking

i won't convert your link to a clickable one, you can play around with the markup tags, BTW i notice in your link that part of the filename is in capitals, is that right mate? when i tried to download it all i got was about 500 bytes (just about the filename) ?

Thanks for the page about the markup tags, but my editing time limit has expired, will know for next time.

The link should be correct, and the program is only very small in size at the moment. Mainly because this is my first major project and most of the stuff it does involves .css and .js files, with no images so they don't take up much space.

Thanks again
