Dreamweaver mx 2004 colors
      #157828 - Fri Feb 04 2005 07:07 PM

I wish to have basic band of fading color(gradient) on one side of my website.
Can I only create solid colors in Dreamweaver? If so how do I create fading color in fireworks and import into DW?

Yes, you will have to use Fireworks (or any other image editor) to create an image to place in the background of a page/table/cell. Look up Gradients in help (F1).

I'm not sure if this can be achieved using CSS, perhaps someone who knows can tell us either way.

You can download a macromedia extension which will create gradients in cells or whole tables

see www.macromedia.com and go to the exchange
