hello.

As you will soon see , I am not very bright..

I have managed to upload my website to my ntlwebspace..but I now want to know how I move it from there to a domain name I have registered.
I am totally stuck.
Thank you for your help.

You would need proper webspace or you can redirect your new domain to your old free ntl name.

If you have a domain name you will now need to buy a hosting account so you have somewhere to upload it to, once you have bought a hosting package you will get sent some details, first will bw the dns details, this means you have to log on to your domain name control panel and put these details in so that the domain knows where to point to, this change wont happen straight away, then you need to get some ftp software, you then use your ftp details you get with the hosting package to upload your site.

I know the above is very general but hope that points you in the right direction, if you need ftp software and hosting post back, for a tiny site you should get hosting for about £15 per year, and the ftp software can be downloaded free.

Regards
