British Wildlife Website
      #153264 - Sun Jan 23 2005 04:12 PM

Hi,

I've just designed this site for a friend of mine:

http://wildbritart.com

It is a site for free clipart of British wildlife. In time it may expand to include education resources and that kind of thing. At the moment it is quite simple - one gallery and a weblinks directory.

We were keen to avoid advertising and the other pitfalls of clipart sites, and to make it easy to navigate. It runs using mambo cms, although I've limited a lot of mambo's functionality to keep it simple.

Any thoughts would be most warmly received. Best wishes, Will

I liked the site.....Said what it did on the tin. Perfect for homework tasks etc. Liked the drawings, I just wish I was as talented. Very easy site to navigate. Well done. I've put it in my favourites just in case my daughters need some images. Good luck in the future.

Thanks! I'll pass your praises on to the artist (who is indeed most talented).
Best wishes,
Will

That's a lovely site with wonderful pictures. I'll show it to my grandchildren when they visit; one of them is quite a talented artist for her age too.

Great! The site is soon going to have a user gallery so that visitors can submit images, so when we get round this adding this, then your grandchilren can submit images too.

I've just added a newsletter to the site, so if you want to be updated about when that happens, you can sign up. Thanks for your enthusiasm, Madeline!

All the best,

Will

You're welcome. I shall pass on details of the site to my daughter so that the children can go on there.

Great site, very educational, would be great if you could add some more! You only have 16 at the moment. Very wasy navigation and I like the attention to detail, like on the copyright page the squrriel has a sign saying Terms and conditions!!!

Thankyou,
