Is there a way that I can block access to certain url's from my browser? I am using IE6 and I want to be able to block any website that I do not want my children to access. I don't know anything about this sort of thing, but I would like to be able to just add a URL manually rather than have sites blocked by content. I do supervise my childrens access but I would like that little bit of extra security. Also I want to block the sites my so called better half uses to feed his gambling habit, lol. Thank you.

You should be able to prevent sites on your firewall! However I don't use Zone Alarm so I don't know the answer, maybe someone on here who uses it could help! Has Norton 2002 got Parental Control?

If you use internet explorer ... it has an extremely basic page blocker by going to tools > internet options > content
I would recommend another program though ... because we all know ... Internet explorer is bad! :-P LOL

You could try adding the site to your 'Restricted sites' list. Click on 'Tools', then 'Internet Options', select the 'Security' tab, click on 'Restricted Sites' then 'Sites...' type in the url and add it, remember to click 'Apply'. I'm sure someone will tell us if this doesn't work.
