Having recently had trouble with my computer, it has been to a repairer who installed Wanadoo to check the system out. Even though I have installed Tiscali broadband I keep getting internet explorer provided by Wanadoo. I do appear to be able to delete it. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for your help. My OE/IE now are working as I expected. Great to deal with people who know about these things.

Can you put the instructions on this board?
Or, do I just have to delete the Wanadoo IE and reinstall from the Microsoft website?

My firewall had stopped the link working.
Wanadoo free IE now, I just have to be Wanadoo free completely now.

For anybody with Spybot Search & Destroy there is a function to change this also. Tools | IE Tweaks | Internet Explorer Custom Title | Current User (Remove and replace with your own name or whatever you want) | Apply
Avg antivirus - Sygate personal firewall - Ad - aware - Spybot Search & Destroy - SpywareGuard - SpywareBlaster - HijackThis - CWShredder - TrojanScan - BitDefender - Housecall - Pop - Up Stopper - Windows update

That's interesting, ourstanley, I might just do that. I quite like the idea of a personalised browser heading! Madeline.
To err is human; to foul things up totally, you need a computer.
