Irfanview
      #114123 - Sun Oct 03 2004 09:42 PM

Today I posted a message (re Gifs about the skin that has appeared over the Gifs) since then I have been reading posts as far back as 1/09/04.only to find that I am not the only one with the problem. It appears to be Irfanwiew thats caused it.
I noticed that several if not all members posting on this forum that use Irfanview are affected, does anyone now the cause or better still the remedy to correct this

PS
I had a reply that Irfanview was turned off , but surely this would not affect other members Postss.

Cheers Jp

To expand on ourstanley's post, iRev stopped their free image hosting on, I think, 24th Sept. You need to find another site to do this for you. Try Walagata I looked there just now and there are free slots available, but be quick, they'll be snapped up pretty soon.

Mine's on IREV and, as you can see, it's still looking lovely.

What Jeff means is that it's not working - you may be able to see it as it is in your cache, but no-one else can.

Hi Jp,
You're welcome. I might be misunderstanding you a bit here, but you can upload more than 2 things on the same visit although it only gives you 2 slots. When you've got your first 2, go back and start again. I uploaded 5 or 6 images the 1st time I went on there.
Madeline.

Hello Jimmy,

Left-click on your own name "Travelman" above your old dodgy picture in this thread somewhere, go to Profile for Travelman / User Options / click on EDIT to the right of Personal Informatio.... / Scroll down to Your Picture / remove what is there / type in

http://jupiter.walagata.com/w/jplank5906/Aminated_Computer.gif

Type that EXACTLY.

The problem was that you had put \\ instead of // , and you need Capital letters at the start of Aminated_Computer.

Jumping Jack ....

I don't like it, as someone said a while ago, it looks as if it's got a hyperactive slug in its mouth!

I know nobody likes it, that's why I'm keeping it. My tongue was firmly in my cheek when I typed "lovely".
