Today i recieved an email from BT regarding my Surftime Account. At the end of September they are upgrading BT Yahoo! Surftime to BT Yahoo! Surftime 24/7. This means that you can access dial-up at any time of the day for free, just the same as BT Yahoo! Anytime. Instead of only being to dial up after 6pm for free.
Well done BT Yahoo. This is great news.

No need to be cheeky maxping, i was only informing other users. Yes you are right Madeline not all of us can get broadband (or can afford it). Before you say it yeh i no you can get it cheaply nowadays but thats not the point.

Do you mean BB? I don't know. I think it varies a lot depending on the ISP and the various packages on offer. If I could get BB, I would.

I only asked because if you are on a £15 per month dial up account you may as well be on 150k Broadband from the likes of Pipex who offer a free modem and set up. click me for more.
Alot of people dont realise its so cheap now ( i was not taking the peas )

ROFL. Thanks for the pic, that's just what it used to feel like sometimes! I've noticed that since I installed the BT Yahoo! stuff and recently got SP2, things have speeded up quite a lot. I don't think our exchange will be BB enabled until next Summer and it's quite possible that we live too far from the exchange to get it even then. Oh well, dial-up is better than nothing.

You could give Onspeed a try.
My mother uses it and it really does work,the speed boost is really impressive.

Dont take any notice of the negative comments as most point to the fact that onspeed does not improve the d/load speeds.
It does not say anywhere in the advert that it improves d/loads it speeds up surfing and you will notice how much faster you get your email.

You must have seen a more disgusting pic than that. There was one on the Open forum of a grossly fat, naked man sitting at a PC with a caption saying something like "You can never be sure who you're talking to on the Internet." I can't remember which thread it was on though.
