Help Searching
      #10831 - Wed Sep 17 2003 12:33 PM

I am trying to locate people who have had experience in Purchasing Property off-plan in Spain.

I can find many websites willing to sell these properties but I can not find people who have experience.
I can't find discussion forums or chat rooms or buyers comments sites etc. I'm sure there must be sites that allow people to share their experience of buying products or property.

Can anyone recommend sites I can use to search the web or methods of searching (or the actual web sites).

Thank you,
Keith.

Use your usual search methods in google, but use Google Groups rather than Google Web

That raises an interesting point. We hear that for every major company site (especially the likes of Esso, McDonalds, etc.), there is an "anti" site, but is there an easy way of finding the "anti" sites short of sifting through millions of "pro" sites in Google?

To clarify that a bit, I could type "anti esso" and find references to " ... these idiots with their anti-esso protests ... " and all that sort of thing, but I'd much rather just go straight to the sites that are most likely to tell the truth, or at least, to put the negative side of the argument, which usually amounts to the same thing in my experience.

Also, Puta, would your reference to Google groups be the place to find consumer feedback, complaints and the like? There's a particular UK company I'd like to learn a little more about at present. They show every sign of incompetence, and it would help to know just how much, or how little, customer satisfaction is "out there".

There is intelligent life on Earth, but I'm only visiting.

There is a "anti group" and "pro group" for virtually every company in the world, or so it seems.

They used to say in retail that a satisfied customer tells 2 other people, but a disgruntled one tells 6. Not any more, a disgruntled one tells the world and his dog if they will listen
