Hi All!
Just published my first web-site, a project for the mrs to show off her wedding knowledge! Its a bit basic, but as we're only on dial-up, I wanted to make sure it loaded quickly. Also, I've been very impressed with the statcounter you can get free from statcounter.com, you can see details on all your visitors (ips, domains, countries, paths, where from, etc)

My daughter is getting married in Sri Lanka in November and I have spent a lot of time ( and money as a result!) on the web organising things from the wedding then honeymoon (in Maldives) to reception on our return (and everything in between"!!). Seeing that your site is advisory rather than commercial (which I think is splendid, both concept and content) I wonder whether you could put in a section for weddings abroad, even if it is only links to other sites, thus making the site more comprehensive and representative of what is a rapidly increasing way of getting hitched these days.

Thanks for all your feedback! If you could send me any links you'd like adding on I'd be happy to look at them. Great idea about adding foreign wedding stuff, if you send me some good links or info i'll add it in.

I will be back when I complete latest phase of wedding preparations. I'm planning to create a slideshow of digital photos of wedding, add a soundtrack and play/show on a big screen for guests at post wedding/honeymoon/holiday (the latter for wife and I to get over it on our part) reception. Ditto with video of proceedings. Great in theory. Now I'm rapidly upskilling myself so that I can do it all in the 4 days between us getting back and night of reception. Now there's a good idea for a commercial opportunity!
