Hi,
I am looking for free web design software - any recommendations?
Does anyone have experience with Geocities, Freeserve or Tripod Lycos?
Thanks

Get a copy of Dreamweaver, you should be able to download one of Kaza or something similar :-)

TFC, regarding the link you gave for FPexpress. I spent twenty minutes downloading it (cant afford broadband), and all for nothing! A warning box comes up informing you that it is an unlicensed copy and not for redistribution. Still cant open the Zip file because of this. Any idea where I can download a legal copy?

Hi Whizwrinkly,
I've just checked the link and downloaded the .exe file and it unzipped and ran fine.
About the legal bit, just click OK and continue, as per the instructions on the web page;
...
6. Inside the box that talks about licensing, Click "okay." 7. Click on the "Unzip" button. 8. Click "okay." 9. In the WinZip Self-Extraction box, click "close."
To run FrontPage Express
1. Go to your computer’s main screen (desktop) that shows all of your program icons and double click on "My Computer. " 2. Double click on "(C)." 3. Double click on the folder labeled fpxpr. 4. Double click on the fpxpress icon (picture of a notebook and feather) to open the program.
I hope this resolves the problem, I can recall the horrors of eternal downloads resulting in a no-show.
