Hi, Just recently I have been getting persistent DNS errors.
Sometimes when typing in a web address or when replying to forum posts.
I get 'The page cannot be displayed' warning box.
How can I stop this from happening?
Thanks
Tiatadi

The first thing to do is have a clear up on your PC. In Internet Explorer go to Tools, Internet Options and under the Temporary Internet Files heading click on Delete Files. Then go to Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools and use the 2 programmes Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter. Try that and see if it makes any difference.

Hi
I am with NTL Broadband and regularly delete my files. Will try the second suggestion as well.
Thanks very much for your help.

Hello
I am back still with the same prob.
My main problems are that I can sign into yahoo but cannot access my mail and on sites where I want to add icons/smileys to my posts I cannot do so.
Have you got any more suggestions?

Two other things to try. Have a search for a file called HOSTS. If you have one, delete it. Second, in IE go to Tools, Internet Options, Connections, LAN Settings and make sure that the option to Automatically Detect Settings is unchecked.
