ask a silly question. Is it possible to burn music onto a cd-rw disk? as i seem to be having trouble.. cheers

with music cd's you have to finalise the disc to play it in a stereo, you can't finalise a cd-rw , so i don't think it will work. the best way to find out is to try it, you've nothing to lose.

Yes, but why to CDRW? You would have a better chance of playing a CDR in most players.
What program are you using?, Nero, Roxio, XP's own, is it just a case of taking longer to burn? This can happen because of differences in CDR and CDRW discs.
Give some more detail of what is (or not) happening and I'm sure someone will help.

As the others say, music files burned as CD tracks on Audio CD have to be finalised. However, you can burn MP3 and such onto a CD-rw in their original format, and using multi-session you can add to them later. Do note these are burned as data CD, not audio CD.
