Is it on all sites, or just one site ?

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way.

This is what it means (if any one can interpret this)

WSAENETDOWN
10050
Network is down.
A socket operation encountered a dead network. This could indicate a serious failure of the network system (that is, the protocol stack that the Windows Sockets DLL runs over), the network interface, or the local network itself.

source: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/winsock/winsock/windows_sockets_error_codes_2.asp

Where do you start on this?
Could be the network card (if fitted?) or even the Modem?
I'd reinstall the modem driver also take out and refit the network card making sure all the connections are pushed in and secured . A loose connection can produce odd sounding error messages and strange glitches
And when its sorted seek out the Download Accelerator Plus program this will autosave any download if it goes wrong and it has some spyware which can be removed with Adaware SE from http://www.lavasoft.de
In case you are wondering? The AP in my name is Answerpool.com .(see profile)

I would advise against installing Download Accelerator Plus, it's got adware.

A better choice would be Fresh Download.
