I've just signed up to Tiscali and found that it has overridden the ad blocker in Norton Internet Security. Has anyone else had this problem with banner ads & pop ups?

I've been using Tiscali for about 6 months and had no problems at all. I use the Google Toolbar with it's integrated pop-up blocker and it's been fine for me.

Hi,
When you say overridden.. do you mean it has been disabled? or just dont work anymore??
If the latter have tried uninstalling Norton and re-installing?

Dunno which it is actually. Everything else in Norton works so I'd guess it's been disabled. However, I think the software serial number was on the box which I binned ages ago so uninstalling it might leave me with a useless piece of software.

Hi,
Check the cd case and manual for the serial number, It's unlikely the serial was on the box as anyone could go into a store and copy down the serial number..
