Appologies if I am not in the right forum.
Wanadoo is my ISP and I also have it as my Home page.
For some reason my Wanadoo home page now opens in its search page, and to the left of the screen with all subsequent links that are usually on it's homepage, following on in a column under the search facility.
Further to this, Now, (today22/8) when I go online, MSN loads as my homepage.
I have not downloaded or removed any software and have reset to default on my settings, but this has not worked.
Wanadoo tech support - useless!
Can anyone help me get back to my homepage. Can you tell me why this has happened?
I am running WinXP Firewall - Nortons Antivirus - Nortons Adaware Spybot

Can't really help you but thought I should register that I am having the same problem. I have accessed wanadoos home page from other PC 's and it appears normally so dont know why it seems to happen on just my (and your) machine. I have not had the problem of msm becoming my homepage however, It may be in trying to fix this you have reset your homepage to default setting. The version of the wanadoo homepage i get seems like a very basic version with mainly text and minimal pictures, and as you say all in a column on the left hand side. Browser is otherwise funtioning perfectly. Hmm Puzzled. Hopefully someone knows whats going on. Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys
I have been changing different settings for IE, NAV and Windows security centre to no avail. However, I changed one setting in the security settings in IE - tools, internet options, security tab, 'security level for this zone' and click custom level. I can't for the life of me remember which one I changed, possibly something to do with scripts.
There is some light at the end of the tunnel, whatever I changed has resolved the problem and the homepage now displays properly, but that doesn't help you all that much. So, I have taken some screen prints, six pages worth in Word, that shows all the settings as I have them now. I'm not entirely sure how to get them on here but if you want me to e-mail the document to you so you can compare the settings with yours I'd be more than happy to.
Regards

Okay, I've finally sussed it!. Norton Internet security has a ad blocker, by turning off this feature the Wanadoo homepage is restored to its proper view. Hope this works for you guys.

Turned of ad blocking. No luck!
Disabled Norton's firewall/AV. No luck!
Sent another email to Wanadoo asking if they have solved the problem with their Homepage and if so what must I do to get it back.
Let you know how I get on.
Thanks for your assistance.

I had this problem also and thought it was my Norton Firewall but tried everything including turning the firewall off had no effect.
Eventually went into internet options under tools, and into security. then custom options. I don't recall changing any of the settings, just made sure the javascript and script options were enabled. Then clicked on apply. This seems to have solved it but I don't know what is different other than the default option is greyed out.
