Firstly decide if you want to
1. Doenload of a site and pay for it
2. Download of some russian website for free
3. Use P2P networks to downlaod free copyrighted music.
You choice
Thanks to TFC for the revised sig.

Richie there is no excuse for not paying for music, especially with a service like napster which lets you listen online to the music available for download.
Listen to over 750,000 full-length songs on-demand • Collect songs to your hard drive to listen to offline • Purchase tracks to burn to CD, transfer to a portable device or listen on your PC
p2p is only going to get worse with the bpi and riaa cracking down, they are never going to stop and yes the chances of the average user getting busted are remote and winmx is one of the clients which contains p2p users being watched by the bpi.
so if you like music do a paper round or work on a market stall, earn some cash and spend it on legal downloads.

Who's making excuses? People make their choices. Get caught, it's a fair cop guv. I like to try albums before I buy them. I'm fed up with buying rubbish albums that are sold on the back of one or two good singles. The record companies don't care about the artists, they're protecting their own profits. They took CD-WOW to court because they were undercutting their ludicrous CD price fixing, so fcuk 'em.
And I find your patronising attitude about people's employment status rather condescending. In a wonderful capitalist society like ours there will always be unemployed and poor people. Live and let live.

yes people do make choices but that is complete bullshit that you use p2p to listen to a album before you buy it because once you have downloaded a album via p2p and the files are above 128kbps (which is cd quality) then no one goes out and buys that album, they may buy the artists next album but that does not make it right.
If you are poor then you do without, if you work hard then you will get paid that extra bit of money and pay for the things you enjoy in life.
football fans have to pay to watch there team play, clubbers have to pay to go clubbing (unless they blag their way in) etc etc so music fans should be paying for the music they want to listen to.

zoo keeper.... thats several stabs youve had at my employment status which i may add has got nothing to do with you. It sounds to me as if you are the son of simon cowell i.e. a rich, big headed, pompous, arrogant, clown so i'd better save my energy striking the keyboard and let you get on with policing the web user forum for any other naughty boys like me who grudge paying £12 plus for an album which has 75% crap tracks on it.................Thanks Richie Win Mx runs a treat

All sorted now, then I'll close the topic before someone says something they wish they hadn't.
