system restore
|

hi, i recently tried to do a system restore but all restore points i tried either did not work properly or failed to work at all. i managed to do a restore in safe mode which appears to have worked. is there a way to delete all current restore points and start again with a new restore point from now. thanks... diesel.

diesel6000 , click on start > all programs > accessories > system tools > disk cleanup and click OK. When the disk clean up has finished calculating the space you'll be presented with the disk clean up options box. Click on the "more options" tab and then the "system restore clean up" tab. This will remove all but the most recent restore point.
